Who Can Enroll

Michigan Cyber Academy is open to students who meet specific requirements. Enrollment is limited to Michigan residents between the ages of 14 and 21. These guidelines ensure MCA serves the students it was created to support while remaining tuition-free.

Age Requirement

Ages 14-21

Students must be between 14 and 21 years old at the time of enrollment. This ensures MCA serves high school–aged learners who are working toward completing their high school diploma.

Residency Requirement

Michigan Resident

Enrollment is open to students living anywhere within the state of Michigan. Residency is not limited by school district, which means families across the state are eligible to apply.

Additional Requirements

After forms and documents are submitted, MCA reviews the application to confirm eligibility. This step helps ensure that all requirements are met and that the program is the right fit for the student.

Required Documents

As part of the enrollment process, families will need to submit documents that verify age and Michigan residency. An enrollment advisor will provide a clear list of exactly which documents are required and guide families through submitting them correctly.

Enrollment Forms

Students and families must complete all required online forms to begin the enrollment process. These forms provide basic information needed to set up student accounts and begin creating a graduation plan.
